A one-day event to provide students with an overview of the influence of nutrition, genetics, & environment on food animal growth, development, & end-product quality. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the ruminant digestive process, feedstuffs, live market animal evaluation & great tasting beef! Join us for a day of:

• Hands-on workshops, social activities & a tour
• Seminar speakers include nutritionists, meat scientists & industry specialists
• ** NEW THIS YEAR ** we will have two age divisions:
• Junior division for ages 8 – 13 & Senior division for ages 14 – 21
• Participants must be Illinois Junior Beef Association members ages 8-21
• Attendees are responsible for their own transportation
