$500 Terry Clemons Memorial Scholarship

  • The Illinois Beef Association will award one scholarship in memory of Terry Clemons.
$500  Marion Butler Memorial Scholarship

  • The Illinois Beef Association will award one scholarship in memory of Marion Butler.
$500 Ogle County Scholarship

  • The Illinois Beef Association will award one scholarship to a resident of Ogle County.

  • The Illinois Beef Association will award one scholarship to a resident of Macoupin County.
$500 LaSalle County Cattlemen's Association Scholarship

  • The LaSalle County Cattlemen's Association will award one scholarship to a resident of LaSalle County. 
  • Applications must be mailed to Gary Dau, 2334 N. 42nd Rd., Sheridan, IL 60551. 

Scholarship Program Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible applicants must meet the following requirements: 
  • Be an Illinois resident, and attend or plan to attend a two or four-year college or university.
  • Be majoring in agriculture or be a high school senior planning to major in agriculture.
  •  Be from a family that is actively involved in beef production and currently an IBA member.
  •  You can not be a previous winner of an IBA scholarship.
  •  Work one day at the Ribeye Corral.
  •  Complete the application and write an original essay (approximately 500 words) on "A Significant Issue Facing the Beef Industry".
  •  Include a copy of your resume and current school transcript.
